London’s Heavy Heart have become a firm favourite with Podcart. Their previous anthem ‘High Dive’ has already made our favourite tracks of the year and the quintet now provide today’s Song of the Day.
‘Fever Dream’ is part of a series of songs the band are impressively releasing each month over the course of 2016. The track is an interesting paradox, presenting something concise and exploratory, expanding their sound without meandering too much, and managing to do it all without feeling overly subdued. This is Heavy Heart at their poetic best.
