Scottish alt-indietronica collective The Ninth Wave face their fears and reveal their finest release to date with latest release ‘Maybe You Didn’t Know‘.
Going against a formula of tempos and injecting a techno core, its contrasting vocals and triumphant production is all-consuming. Mixing disparate influences and keeping their now signature performative licks, this feels like a step up artistically.
There’s an unpredictable sonic make-up here and the sound they manage to create on record is not only intelligent but at times, completely enrapturing. This is utterly sublime.
