Vocally rich and tenuous, the emotional number will have you either smiling with joy or fighting off tears. Gorgeous, melancholy – I don’t know how many adjectives I can pack in here but it’s one of those songs that takes organic, confident songwriting and lets the artist shine. ‘Wait for Me’ is exquisite.
