Maya Rain cements her place as a new talent within the Neo-Soul field with latest release ‘O.Y.H (Hold Me)’.
An atmospherics experience, there’s something almost cinematic about Rain’s delivery when set against its tender arrangement. She manages to sculpt her voice around the melodies of her music bed and pushes herself along a self-explorative narrative.
It will be interesting to see where Rain goes next and the intrigue is paramount as this introduction is superb.
