Scottish duo LOVE SICK continue to deliver lessons in how to avoid musical stereotypes thanks to their consistent output. Latest release ‘Get Wild‘ is a true arrival and places the 2-piece front and centre.
I am still at the stage of confusion as to why they are not poster children in terms of Scottish export. They are by far one of the best outfits to emerge in recent years from Scotland and feel like the whole package.
‘Get Wild’ achieves a delicate balance in its production but still manages to pack a punch in its chorus hook. Constructing ambient moments in between its staccato percussion, this is a satisfying culmination of everything the pair have produced to date.
