I have never really latched onto the likes of Post Malone and those in the same stylistic field, Late Lilo has however completely winded me.
The collaboration project between Cardiff/London duo Tudor Davies (XY&O) and John Kilpatrick (JKP) is like Lil Peep meets Burial and subsequently one of the most played songs of the year so far for us.
A track that plays tricks with its dissonance, it still manages to dictate your emotions and is one of those songs that feels immediately familiar. There’s something life-affirming about ‘Sour‘, it’s hard to explain, but this is an anthem and a compassionate one at that.
