With an impressive team behind him, Glasgow-based electronic artist Edwin Organ has been on my radar for a while.
Previous releases have piqued my curiosity, but his latest song ‘Serenade’ is a bit of a game changer. Having locked himself away in the deepest, darkest rolling fields of Ayrshire, he set up a hub in Glasgow in order to unleash his weird, wonderful and distinctive sounds.
A fun, disparate and delicious song, ‘Serenade’ is entertainingly excessive. Its potent funk mosaic finds Organ becoming a must watch artist for 2017 and beyond.
