With Joe Brown (Lapsley) on co-production duties, Callinsick‘s latest delivery is a meandering folk adventure showing a different side to the outfit.
It’s this versatility that makes the already curious artist a welcome gift. ‘Turn The Sun Out’ places its vocal performance front and centre making this feel thoughtful, poignant and elegant all in equal measure. It’s the melancholic undertone that makes it most attractive and the sadness that blankets everything is utterly sublime.
I cannot wait to see where Callinsick go next.
