Accompanying the release of his debut album The Water & The Rough, indie-folk wonder Riley Pearce, reveals a taster in ‘The Water‘.
Palpitating from the onset, there’s a deep sense of body in the arrangement which sets the foundations for its melodic flourish.
Transcendental in its approach, the clear organic musicianship and connection that Pearce has with his environment flows through effortlessly. There’s a hedonistic sense to the song and its soothes and stirs throughout feel almost cathartic. This is sublime.
