Essex-based band Low Lying Sun deliver an operatic proclamation of heartache and grief in their latest release ‘Hymm To Say Goodbye’.
Taken from their newly released EP of the same name, there’s an art in the dynamics here which also highlights the sincerity at the core of the song. Its sustained intensity is pure catharsis and points towards transcendence.
This is musical sensationalism and despite the bombast, it in no way overshadows the performance or finer details of the songwriting. This is a much-needed injection in the field of indie rock.
