Every year T Break play host to new and emerging music talent at T in the Park. Here are my picks of who to see at the tent this year and why:
Birdhead
So for any Neu! fans then you will may automatically feel some kind of affinity with this band. I saw this Edinburgh 2-piece in Glasgow’s Bar Bloc one night and they certainly dusted the cobwebs off the old dancing shoes. The beauty about them is that they will probably appeal as much to the dance fans as the alternative ones.
Secret Motorbikes
Aside from the magic banter at their live shows, their music has a very high ‘crack’ factor – it is addictive. They have already written a hit record ‘Eating and Sleeping’, which in my opinion could go top ten.
Deathcats!!!
I think almost every person I have spoken to at gatherings, music meet ups and gigs has been talking about Deathcats. With their psychedelic edge and terrifying walls of noise they will impress the tent no end.
Tuff Love
I have so much love for this trio. They make beautiful superfuzz music that is dynamic, interesting and commanding.
