I have been listening to Kid Canaveral for around 7 years now. Given how many bands I have seen come and go in that period, it’s beyond satisfying to have them still going strong.
The band are set to release their 3rd album, Faulty Inner Dialogue 29th July via Lost Map. The label itself goes from strength to strength and epitomises DIY in one of its strongest forms.
‘Tragic Satellite’ is the 2nd track to be taken from the quartet’s forthcoming long player and is one of the band’s most notable releases since their formation.
A near-perfect pop song brimming with an intense confidence, its melancholic beauty mixes intelligent guitar lines with David MacGregor’s charming vocal. ‘Tragic Satellite’ hits a real sweet spot.
