Austin-based duo Mirror Mask are similar to a number of electronic outfits in that there is very little information, but their mysteriousness makes no difference when it comes to the music.
With undeniable shades of The Cure, ‘Always’ has dark, industrial undertones which are sweetened by an irresistible melodic pulchritude. If this is a taster of what’s to come the electronica plain got a whole lot more interesting.
