Edinburgh duo Man Of Moon have already become one of this year’s most exciting Scottish musical prospects. Debut single ‘The Road’ not only floored a number of the bands peers, but it also made London’s music press and industry sit up and pay attention.
‘Sign’ is the follow-up taken from their Medicine EP, due out digitally 6th May and physically 10th June. I first saw the band play at BBC’s The Quay, they shone as one of the day’s most promising artists. Following a few more shows they supported The Twilight Sad at Glasgow’s Barrowlands. A show that was no doubt nerve-wracking, but the imbalance never showed and they played an exceptional set.
An exercise in psychedelic rock homage, they do nothing to sacrifice their eclecticism. Don’t underestimate this band, they are destined for magnificent things.
