Australian actress Sophie Lowe has thankfully returned to making music and her latest offering ‘Breathe’ is a tender lullaby laced with restlessness.
Given the subject matter, this has an innate sense of confidence. Lowe explains, “I wrote ‘Breathe’ at a time in my life when I struggling to feel comfortable within myself and my surroundings. I wanted to talk about anxiety with this song because I feel it’s not talked about enough.”
Lowe has matured exponentially on this release. Her honeyed harmonies and off-kilter percussive weavings are bound by palpable emotion.
