With the film The Menu being uttered at every given opportunity it seems, the thing that perhaps trumps it is its score.
Composer Colin Stetson is the maestro behind the scenes and one taster is the utterly sublime score ‘All Aboard‘.
The way its instrumental elements pirouette around one another creates a wider sonic dance that feels evocative, delicious and magical. Its woodwind and string relationships are effortless and provide a weird feeling of nervousness as if on the eve of something far darker. This is a glorious piece and one that will remain on heavy rotation for some time to come.
