Dynamic duo TAPE TRASH continue to create their own compelling body of hook-laden work and release ‘NOT GOING HOME’ adds extra nostalgia.
For those of us who have lived through the inception and early careers of the likes of Mew, Death Cab For Cutie and The Shins amongst others, TAPE TRASH are a band who take all the best elements of these bands and a genre which brought so much joy and bundle it into one explosive package.
Their latest release helps elevate the band and show they are able to create compelling music that towers over many of their peers. There’s an almost cinematic stamina from the 2-piece and it’s the relentless power that injects this that makes it all the more compelling.
