Following the sophomore release of their LP Embody in February, Basement Revolver fuse contrasting dynamics in latest release ‘Dissolve‘.
One of the things I admire about the band is their stamina, but it’s also the consistency of songwriting. Behind that is the lived experiences of the band and how admirable it is that they are so candid in their songwriting.
‘Dissolve‘ seduces as readily as it challenges and commands attention throughout. There is real songwriting, real hooks that all lie below the walls of sound and gargantuan atmospherics.
