I think there’s an unspoken bond between people who struggle with their bodies, and lead singer Chrisy Hurn-Morrison is entirely admirable in her openness and dreamlike articulation of her struggles.
A modern ballad, ‘Skin‘ is lyrically relatable and pure listening enjoyment. There’s a coherent performance here that feels respectful of its singer in the musical arrangement and her angelic vocals are left to breathe her diary entries effortlessly.
