Indietronica trio Son Lux’s latest long-player Tomorrows III continues to showcase some of the finest material from the outfit to date.
Single ‘Vacancy‘ features the sublime talents of Kiah Victoria, and it feels like this meeting of minds has been in the works for decades. A dynamically potent track with vocal confessions delivering gut-punching lines including “can I love you more just by leaving?”, there’s so much to unpack listen after listen.
There’s sweetness, there’s pain but there’s also something beautifully abstract about the textures musically, and it’s that imagination and foresight which sets Son Lux apart from so many of their peers.
They can do no wrong.
