Sydney’s Mere Women are set to finish recording their 3rd album this year, cited as one of Australia’s most dynamic live artists, the 4-piece have emerged with ‘Dark’ as a taster of what’s to come in all its omnipotent glory.
With an uncomplicated, yet menacing presence, ‘Dark’ brings the glory days of post-punk to the fore and manages to maintain a claustrophobic motive throughout. Its hypnotic abrasiveness leaves me looking forward to their long player immensely.
