The chattering has started behind the scenes regarding Glasgow’s Lucia Fontaine. Having just played the BBC Introducing stage at this year’s T In The Park and gained notable London-based press, it’s an exciting time for the young musician.
Fontaine releases her debut EP Best Boy on 10″ vinyl via Dead Beet Records this Autumn and it’s without a doubt the perfect DIY label for the singer/songwriter to pair with.
The decadent ‘Lose My Mind’ is the first taster from her forthcoming EP. With fuzz-guitars, apathetic percussion and Fontaine’s fireball vocal, this is cinematic, charged and a clear indication that we have a real artist in our midst.
