Norway continues to cement itself as one of the world’s most noteworthy places to discover new music. Orions Belte strange and visionary approach will no doubt be a reminder of psych greats such as NEU!, but they still manage to thrust themselves into the here and now without the plagiarism.
Their latest release, ‘Atlantic Surfing‘ is a perfect title to sum up this swathing cacophony of kaleidoscopic puissance. Mechanical in motion, dynamic to the point of dance and mind-bending in melodics, this is an accomplished soundscape.
