Ayr’s Mannequin Mannequin return to our ears with a taster of recently released album Sounds Strange When I Say It Out Loud.
The 4-piece adopt a slacker melancholy with ‘Rose Thorn‘, recorded along with the other long-player additions at the infamous Gargleblast Studios, it soon becomes clear how the relationship is so effortless.
More effective thanks to its restraint, both performatively and dynamically, this is a mesmerising listen.
