Dutch pop starlet Kelsey Coockson arrives with a melodic tour de force in latest release ‘Who We Are‘.
As far as Eurovision goes, the Netherlands missed a trick by not choosing this song to represent them. That aside, this is a brilliantly assured statement from the musician.
‘Who We Are‘ is the kind of instant ebullient pop that I crave, its solid structure, its hook-laden arrangement and the cherry on the top is Coockson’s defiant vocal canopy. As far as songs go, this will dissipate worries and give you 3 minutes 25 seconds of euphoric relief.
