Song of the Day today comes courtesy of Glasgow-based producer HQFU. Having previously received the accolade under her real name, Sarah J Stanley, the multi-talented artist has now shifted seamlessly from her folk roots to euphoric electronica.
‘Dust & Dirt’ is the first taster from forthcoming EP Ca$hle$$ Lip$ released in November. This is infectious, eclectic music and another of my highlights of 2015 so far. As pulse-quickening as it is, this in no way feels devoid of human touch. It is an altogether striking debut.
