Scottish producer Dunt delivers a blistering collaboration with Sam West in latest release ‘Dark Between Stars‘.
Animated by a clever tension, the dancing dynamics here are sublime. This nails the balance between West’s gorgeous vocal and the stirring accompanying atmospheric production surrounding it.
Dripping with gritty moments and spiralling melodies, it’s further infused with relentless layering and textural brilliance which makes it all the more cerebral.
Dunt has been behind some of the year’s best Scottish releases and continues to show remarkable intelligence in his approach. I look forward to what 2021 has on the horizon.
