Nikò O’Brien (drums/electronics) and Hannah (Jakes) Jacobs (synth/vocals) have, like many others, been thrust into a new way of working over the last months but the results go way beyond what we may stereotype as “remote recording”.
There’s a shimmer to this and depth within the arrangement which feels not only full-bodied but wonderfully delicate. The fluent intimacy they create makes this a headphones moment to repeat again and again.
