Chicago-based punk outfit Ganser are a discordant welcome to our aural pool and their latest release ‘Bad Form’ creeps up on you in all its cacophonous glory.
Vocally driven by Nadia Garofalo, its pulsating dissonance does everything it can to be disturbing yet completely addictive. This is an impressive document of the band’s discipline and its immediately recognisable angular guitar riffs and unrelenting rooted back section are the perfect post-punk tribute.
Its rousingly lucid lyrics are delivered with a venomous nonchalance which makes ‘Bad Form’ all the more seductive. You will be hard pushed not to hit repeat.
