Fresh: United Fruit – ‘Nightmare Recovery’

image

Blogging is about being passionate about something. About conveying your love for what you are writing, speaking and spouting about. It is very easy to get called out if you are just posting something for the sake of it.

I love United Fruit. It is simple. I love every single release they have put out from the roaring riffage in ‘Push It’ to their bordering on pop ballad, ‘How Long’.

Their latest release ‘Nightmare Recovery’ has been added to my 6 year United Fruit listening post. With its frantic guitar work and hectic, raw energy – this is relentless.

For a band that house more ideas in one album than some do in their whole back catalogue, it is clear there is still enough fresh breath exhaling from their obdurate lungs.

The band are about to embark on a UK tour:

  • Nov 8 – Manchester – Fallow Café
  • Nov 9 – Liverpool – Studio 2
  • Nov 10 – Birmingham – The Ooblek
  • Nov 11 – London – The Black Heart
  • Nov 14 – Glasgow – Hug and Pint
  • Nov 15 – Edinburgh – Sneaky Pete’s
