Glasgow-based label Gold Mold Records have impressed already this year with Dec ’91, now, my attention turns to quartet Earths.
‘Familiar Echo‘ is a patchwork of moods and styles, this song, in particular, shows the band’s growth in a remarkably cohesive way. It evokes feelings, at times, of complete sadness, but a craved melancholy that people like myself thrive on when it comes to music. This has a tremendous amount of strength and grace and bands like Earths continue to exemplify the real gems you come across in Scotland.
