Dead Pony: ’23, Never Me’

Glasgow punk thrillseekers Dead Pony continue on their path to world domination with new single ’23, Never Me’

As acerbic as ever, their pristine production is matched with their tighter than tight musicianship. Their freewheeling latest release continues to highlight the duo as one of the most underrated Scottish exports of the last few years.

Enjoyably violent in its delivery, they are a band that is starting to eclipse their peers. Frontwoman Anna Shields’ lyrical commentary on cutting out toxic relationships in life is delivered with delicious vitriol.

The band retain their fundamental indie-rock roots but do so with incomprehensible energy. What a time to be alive.
