With their album Invisible Things set for release 26 November, North London Neo-Soul collective Aurora Dee Raynes deliver a first-class taster with latest single ‘Crazy That You Love’.
Vocalist Danielle Kranendonk, keys player Nicholas Johnson and producer Stephen Raynes make up the dynamic trio and bring integrity and great musicianship to the more synthetic and electronic aspects of their make-up. With a trip-hop narrative underpinning the track, Johnson’s vocal feels like the perfect accompaniment both stylistically and sonically.
With a rich texture and some beautiful topline additions to the song’s fabric, ‘Crazy That You Love‘ is a compelling listen.
